Happy Friday!  How was everyone's week?  This a bit a lazy week for me and my family.  I actually got to sleep in 3 days in a row.  Anyways, who's still working on their Christmas shopping? 🙋 I have a handful of gifts left to buy before I'll be finished.  Well, here's what we've been up to since my last post.

Is this really the last Friday in October?  Honestly, I can't believe how fast this month has by.  It seems like it went by faster than all the rest.  I suspect the November and December will go by in just as much of blur as this month did as well.  I'm not complaining because I'm ready for the holidays and ready to spend time with my family members that I haven't seen in a while.

It's final starting to hit me that the holidays are literally right around the corner.  We're only 6 weeks out from Thanksgiving.  I haven't even started on our menu.  I'm looking forward to the end of the month though because we always put our Christmas tree up on November 1st.  I know it's early for some, but I really like to enjoy my Christmas decorations and bring my Christmas presents out of the closets to finally nestle around the tree.  Anyways, I hope that everyone had a great week this week.

Happy Friday!  Am I the only one who feels like this has been the longest week ever?  There's so much negative stuff happening back to back.  It's not only overwhelming, but draining as well.  Next week I'm avoiding the news at all costs and cutting back on my time on social media.  Moving on, I'm excited to be starting a new series here where I can talk about all of the things that I'm currently enjoying or not enjoying.

Although, I'm already participating in Make Me Read It, when I saw that round 4 of Tome Topple was going down this week, I just had to get in on the action.  It's now official that I am obsessed with readathons.  Tome Topple is a two week readathon in which readers challenge themselves to read books with over 500 pages.  

Monthly Goals | August 2017

How is it August already?  It's hard to believe that 2017 is already half over.  We're 3 months out from Turkey Day and 4 months out from Christmas and Sagittarius season! 🎉♐

Anyways, I was taking a peak at My Bookish Blog Goals & Resolutions For 2017 post to check my progress.  I wasn't expecting to be able to cross much if anything off my list so far given the fact that I've been absent around these parts.  However, I'm happy to report that I can cross off my goal to setup an official URL for this blog as well as my goal to master a new video editing software.

Happy Sunday, Zodiacs!  I can't believe it's been almost a year since my last Sunday Post.  Nevertheless I'm happy to be back and excited about my rebranding of this blog.  Since we've last caught up, I've bought a house, started an online book club and launched an online store.  Sounds like a lot, I know.

I feel like I'm on a readathon roll.  Honestly, reading is so much fun when you're doing it as a group or at least have people to chat about your reads with as you read them.  Anyways, I surfing the web and stumbled across the Make Me Read It Read-A-Thon.  Co-hosted by Ely of Tea And Titles (Earl Grey Books on BookTube) and Val of The Innocent Smiley, #MakeMeRead is a readathon in which you select books you really want to read, create a poll and post it to your blog, YouTube channel or social media accounts for other people to vote on which books you should read.

My #BookBuddyAthon TBR 2017

It's officially May and that means it's time to get ready for the #BookBuddyAthon!!  I wanted to participate in this readathon last year, but I didn't find a reading buddy in time.  This year I started advertising for a reading buddy early and someone was nice enough to answer my call on Twitter.  Thanks M for tweeting me!!  Now that I have a reading buddy, here's an overview of what the #BookBuddyAthon is and a list of the books we'll be reading.
